This 2011 Renaissance Award winning project was for a 4000 square foot new custom home built on the lower slopes of Tantalus. This home features an expansive ipe deck, Fleetwood multi-slide doors, custom built cabinetry, granite countertops, porcelain wall panels and glass tile shower, carved stone vessel bath tub, coral stone veneer and spotted gum hardwood floors. The challenges of this project were the difficult site access, the hillside lot and the tight footprint for the site. As part of the Owners desire to preserve the large trees, the roof design was modified to avoid branches.
